Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) welcomes John Black, M.S.-L.P.C.C., Licensed Clinical Counselor, to HMH Behavioral Health Services. He joins HMH Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Shaundra Call, Jennifer Lucas and Cathy Messinger in providing behavioral health care for both adults and pediatric patients.

With nearly 30 years of experience in behavioral health, his experience includes individual, family and group counseling in community mental health, inpatient rehabilitation and inpatient psychiatric settings. He earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kentucky.

HMH Behavioral Health Services provides outpatient behavioral health care to patients throughout the communities HMH serves. Services are available for adults and pediatric patients with conditions including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, behavioral disorders and other mental health conditions.

He is now accepting new patients. Patients may be referred to by their physician or schedule an appointment directly by calling 859-235-3766.
