Harrison Memorial Hospital Welcomes Endocrinologist Samhitha Munugoti, M.D.

Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of endocrinologist Samhitha Munugoti, M.D., to our medical staff. Dr. Munugoti specializes in diabetes care, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, metabolic disorders, pituitary disorders, adrenal gland disorders, hormonal disorders, and more. She begins her practice on July 30, 2025.

Dr. Munugoti earned her medical degree from Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College/St. Mary and St. Clare Program in Denville, New Jersey. She completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky.

Endocrinology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to hormones and the endocrine system. This includes managing diseases such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other glandular conditions that can affect metabolism, growth, and overall health.
