Harrison Memorial Hospital Welcomes Jennifer Lucas, MSN, PMHNP-BC, to Behavioral Health Services

Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Lucas, MSN, PMHNP-BC, to its Behavioral Health Services team. Lucas joins Cathy Messinger, APRN, Alyssa Mayo, APRN, and Shaundra Call, APRN, in providing high-quality behavioral health services to patients in the region.

She earned her associate degree in nursing from Beckfield College in Florence, KY. She then obtained her bachelor of science in nursing from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT, followed by a master of science degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Lucas has advanced training to diagnose and treat patients with behavioral health conditions.

The outpatient clinic offers a full spectrum of behavioral health services, including:
· Initial mental status and behavioral health assessments
· Individual and family psychotherapy, including education and treatment
· Medication management
· Referrals for counseling for adults and children
· Assessment and coordination for inpatient treatment when needed

She specializes in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and other mental health illnesses.

She is accepting adult and pediatric patients at the HMH Behavioral Health Services Clinic located at 127 KY Highway 32 West in Cynthiana, KY.
