HMH welcomes two new orthopedic surgeons

Harrison Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Cody Lane and Dr. Joshua Owens to its orthopedic and sports medicine team beginning July 1.

On July 1, Dr. Lane and Dr. Owens joined Dr. Shivani Sadwal and Michael Wiles, P.A.-C, in providing comprehensive orthopedic focusing on joint replacement services at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

Together, the orthopedic team offers advanced care for fractures, joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries, shoulder, hip, and knee conditions, ligament and tendon injuries, total joint replacement, and other musculoskeletal conditions through both surgical and non-surgical treatment options designed to help patients regain mobility and improve quality of life. The clinic treats both adult and pediatric conditions.

Dr. Lane earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehead State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency at Grandview Medical Center.

Dr. Owens earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky before earning his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Internship and Residency at the University of Kentucky and further specialized in Sports Medicine and Total Joint Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
