HMH Care-A-Van Transport Services

Your Ride to Better Health

Harrison Memorial Hospital offers Care-A-Van Transport Services to assist patients in getting to and from scheduled healthcare appointments at HMH facilities. This free service improves access to care for eligible residents and ensures that transportation is never a barrier to receiving medical attention.

Hours of Operation

• Transport Services: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Scheduling Department: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• To schedule a ride: Call (859) 298-2700
• Schedule requests at least 72 hours in advance, when possible

Eligibility and Guidelines

• Transportation is only for scheduled HMH appointments at physician offices, primary care clinics, specialty clinics, and outpatient services
• Emergency Department and Express Care visits are excluded
• Patients must be fully ambulatory and able to enter and exit the van without assistance from the driver
• A patient may be accompanied by an attendant if space allows
• Transportation is not provided for acute illness or injury
• Patients and riders under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult and must not require a child safety restraint.
