Harrison Memorial Hospital Opens The HMH Hilltop Clinic
Harrison Memorial Hospital is now accepting enrollments for the 2026–2027 school year for The HMH Hilltop Clinic, a school-based health clinic serving Harrison County Schools students, faculty and staff.
Located on the Harrison County Schools campus at 324 Webster Avenue in Cynthiana, The HMH Hilltop Clinic makes it easier for students and employees to receive quality healthcare close to where they learn and work. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Harrison County Schools instructional days. The first day was Thursday, August 13, 2026.
The clinic is staffed by Jennie Gardner, APRN, an HMH Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in primary care. Gardner provides compassionate, high-quality care while helping reduce time away from the classroom and workplace.
“The HMH Hilltop Clinic is another example of Harrison Memorial Hospital’s commitment to meeting patients where they are,” said David Asher, Chief Strategy Officer at Harrison Memorial Hospital. By bringing healthcare directly to the school campus, we are making it more convenient for students and staff to receive timely care, reducing time away from the classroom, and helping families access the services they need close to home.”
Services available at The HMH Hilltop Clinic include:
- Sore throat evaluation
• Cold, flu and respiratory illness treatment
• Ear and eye conditions
• Sports physicals
• Urinary symptoms
• Minor illnesses and injuries
• Behavioral health services and screenings
Students who become ill during the school day are first evaluated by the school nurse. Parents or guardians are then contacted, and with a completed enrollment and consent form, students may receive care at The HMH Hilltop Clinic. Faculty and staff may schedule appointments directly with the clinic.
The clinic is open to all Harrison County Schools’ students and employees. Insurance will be billed when applicable, although students will be seen regardless of their ability to pay. Copays, coinsurance and deductibles may apply.
Enrollment forms are now available for the upcoming school year. Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete enrollment before the start of school to ensure their child has convenient access to healthcare when needed.
