Harrison Memorial Hospital offers both inpatient assessment and outpatient behavioral health services to support individuals and families across the region. Our team provides compassionate care for patients of all ages experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.

Initial mental status and behavioral health assessments
Individual and family psychotherapy
Medication management
Referrals for counseling for adults and children

Patients may be referred by their physician or may schedule an appointment directly.

Meet Our Providers

Shaundra Call, APRN
Shaundra Call earned her associate degree in nursing from Maysville Community and Technical College and her BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University. She then completed her master’s degrees in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner programs at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Jennifer Lucas, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Jennifer Lucas holds an associate degree from Beckfield College and a BSN from Western Governors University. She completed her MSN as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Northern Kentucky University and is board certified.

Cathy Messinger, APRN
Cathy Messinger earned her associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Metropolitan Community College and the University of Nebraska, respectively. She later completed a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Iowa. She received her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Western Kentucky University.

Alyssa Mayo, APRN, PMHNP
Alyssa Mayo earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
