Harrison County Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS), operated by Harrison Memorial Hospital, proudly serves over 18,000 residents in Cynthiana and neighboring areas. In close partnership with the Cynthiana Fire Department and Harrison County Fire Department, HCEMS delivers 24/7 emergency medical response, ensuring quick, skilled, and compassionate care during both medical and trauma-related emergencies.

Our Team, Our Mission

Our dedicated EMS professionals include EMT-Basics, EMT-Advanced, Paramedics, and Critical Care Paramedics, committed to delivering exceptional prehospital care. Currently, we operate two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances around the clock, with the capability to staff up to six units when needed.

Our 33-member team works on a structured 12-hour Pitman schedule, responding to approximately 3,600 emergency calls annually.
