Harrison Memorial Hospital is proud to offer a Transitional Care Unit for patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries or surgeries. Our continuum of care includes:

  • Diagnosis and individualized treatment planning
  • Inpatient surgical or non-surgical care
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Physical and occupational therapy (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Coordination for outpatient therapy services upon discharge

Meet Our Providers

Jason Hunt, D.O.
Dr. Jason Hunt earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pikeville College and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, and his orthopaedic surgery residency at Bone & Joint Hospital at St. Anthony.

Michael Wiles, PA-C
Michael Wiles is a certified Physician Assistant with over 30 years of experience in multi-specialty orthopaedics. He graduated from the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program and has spent the last two decades seeing patients at Bluegrass Orthopaedics and Lexington Clinic.

Abigail Guy, PA-C
Abigail Guy, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Microbiology from University of Rhode Island, South Kingston, RI. She earned her masters of Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology. She has extensive experience with total joint orthopaedic programs and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
