Harrison Memorial Hospital Enhances Care with Full-Time Urology Services

Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) is pleased to announce the addition of Denis A. Yalkut, M.D., Urologist, to its medical staff.

Dr. Yalkut earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed his residency in general surgery and urology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Yalkut is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.

Urology is the medical specialty focused on diagnosing and treating disorders of the urinary tract in women and the urogenital system in men. Dr. Yalkut provides a full range of urologic services, including cystoscopy; medical and surgical management of female urinary incontinence; laparoscopic and percutaneous minimally invasive urologic surgery; lithotripsy; medical and surgical treatment of male sexual dysfunction including erectile dysfunction; prostate cancer treatment including radical prostatectomy and CyberKnife® radiation treatment for prostate cancer; MRI guided transperineal prostate biopsy; shockwave lithotripsy; urodynamics and vasectomy.

Dr. Yalkut began seeing patients on April 6, 2026. His office is located in the HMH Physician Office Building, Suite 1D, 1210 KY Highway 36 East in Cynthiana, Kentucky.
