HMH Visitor Restrictions for Hospital and Clinics
In an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 global emergency, we are protecting our patients, employees and community from potential spread of the virus.
Effective immediately on March 19, 2020 until further notice, HMH is RESTRICTING ALL VISITORS at Harrison Memorial Hospital HMH Physician Group Clinics, HMH Outpatient Services in Carlisle, HMH Clinic in Falmouth, HMH Walmart Clinic with the following exceptions:
• End-of-life patient cases will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
• Any emergency surgery will be allowed one HEALTHY adult during surgery and initial recovery.
• Any pediatric patient will be allowed one HEALTHY adult to accompany.
• Any obstetrical laboring patient will be allowed one designated HEALTHY adult through delivery.
All visitors in these exception categories will be screened and requested to stay in their designated area.
If you have an appointment, you must come alone. If you are transported by another person, that person will need to stay in his or her vehicle.
In addition, the following areas at HMH are still closed to the public:
• The HMH Wellness Center will be closed until further notice.
• The HMH Cafeteria will only be open to our employees and patient families until further notice.
Also, the Harrison County Community Health Fair scheduled for April 9 and the HMH Community Shred Day Event for April 18 are postponed.
