Harrison Memorial Hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical services in a state-of-the-art facility. Surgical Team members of HMH are caring, experienced, well-trained individuals working together, committed to providing you the best experience possible. Our HMH Surgical Services department boasts excellent clinical outcomes, exceptionally low infection rates, and experienced surgeons and operating room staff. Ask any member of the team, and we will provide you with the facts. We believe we are the perfect choice for your surgical needs.

Better equipped to provide outpatient surgery
Our operating rooms are compatible with the demands of inpatient or outpatient surgery. We designed and built space to house immaculate operating suites which provide maximum workspace efficiency for our staff. We centralized all outpatient surgeries into one area. This offers more advantages to our patients and surgeons. Our larger space accommodates advanced medical technology critical to remaining on the cutting edge of medicine.

Many of today’s surgical interventions are minimally invasive
Completed with “scopes” that require tiny incisions, the surgeon views his work through small cameras at the scope’s tip. These very small instruments are used in our operating rooms, when appropriate, to repair the patient’s problem. This means shorter lengths of stay for patients and dramatically reduced recovery times. Our facility makes the most of minimally invasive technology for both our surgeons and their patients.

Your privacy is our priority
Harrison Memorial Hospital makes patient privacy a top priority. Our patients can expect that all communication and medical records be maintained confidentially. Our new surgical services area is larger, giving patients more space for privacy and a greater ability to discuss medical concerns with our staff without being overheard by others. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. All of our surgeons are board certified.
