Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) is excited to announce an expansion of healthcare services in the Falmouth area with the addition of behavioral health services at the HMH Primary Care Falmouth office. This expansion aims to meet the growing needs of the community and provide comprehensive care that addresses both physical and mental well-being.

Joining the team at HMH Primary Care Falmouth is Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Cathy Messinger, APRN. Messinger brings a wealth of experience and expertise in psychiatric and mental health care. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, and is certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY. With her extensive educational background and dedication to patient care, Messinger is well-equipped to serve the behavioral health needs of the region.

In addition to Messinger, HMH welcomes Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Carla Farrar, LPCC, to the team. Farrar is an accomplished professional with a strong background in counseling services. She received her master’s degree from Cincinnati Christian University, Cincinnati, OH, and is board certified by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. Farrar’s expertise in working with diverse clients, spanning from adolescents to the elderly, makes her a valuable asset to the Falmouth community.
