Adrienne Letcher-Smith, APRN, joins HMH Primary Care Carlisle

Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner Adrienne Letcher-Smith, APRN, FNP-C, to the HMH Primary Care Carlisle office. She will practice alongside Dr. Ken Marshall, HMH Family Medicine Physician.

An APRN is a registered nurse who has completed an advanced, graduate-level education program and has passed a national certification examination in order to practice in one of four APRN roles (clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse practitioner and registered nurse anesthetist).

A native of Carlisle, KY, Letcher-Smith earned her earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. She then earned her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY. Prior to joining HMH Primary Care, she worked as a critical care nurse at UK Healthcare.

Letcher-Smith is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also earned her CCRN from the American Association of Critical Care Nursing.

As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Letcher-Smith has advanced training to help diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, as well as promote general wellness in patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

She is accepting new patients at the HMH Primary Care office located at 254 East Main Street, Carlisle. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All Medicaid plans and most Medicare plans are welcome. Same day appointments are available as well.
