Dr. Mark Rudy joins HMH Medical Staff

Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that University of Kentucky Nephrologist Mark C. Rudy, M.D., will offer an onsite clinic at HMH, which began on  September 6, 2024.

Dr. Rudy will see patients on the first and third Friday of each month in Cynthiana, KY. He will be joined by Nurse Practitioner Susan Grubb, APRN, who will continue to see patients on the second and fourth Friday of each month.

 A nephrologist is a physician who specializes in the diseases and conditions that affect the kidneys, such as chronic kidney disease, kidney infections and kidney failure.

Dr. Rudy earned his bachelor of science degree in Biology from University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. He then earned his medical degree from University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Rudy completed a residency in Internal Medicine from UK College of Medicine, before completing a clinical fellowship in Nephrology from there as well. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Rudy is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the National Kidney Foundation.
