Tara Wagner, APRN, joins HMH Primary Care Main
Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner Tara Wagner, APRN, to its medical staff. She will treat patients at HMH Primary Care Main in Cynthiana.
An APRN is a registered nurse who has completed an advanced, graduate-level education program and has passed a national certification examination in order to practice in one of four APRN roles (clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse practitioner and registered nurse anesthetist).
A native of Cynthiana, KY, Wagner earned an associates in applied science, surgical technology degree from Central Kentucky Technical College. She then earned an associate of arts in Nursing degree from Midway College, Midway, KY. Wagner earned her bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University, Downers Grove, IL, before earning her master of science in Nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY.
Prior to joining HMH Primary Care Main, Wagner worked as registered nurse in HMH Medical/Surgical and ICU departments. She also worked as a registered nurse for Bluegrass Care Navigators and an ICU registered nurse at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Wagner has advanced training to help diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, as well as promote general wellness in patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
Wagner is accepting new patients. HMH Primary Care Main is located on the ground level of the HMH Physician Office Building, Suite G3, near Clinic Pharmacy, on the campus of Harrison Memorial Hospital.
