The HMH Physician Group: Primary Care practice was chosen to participate in the Kentucky Diabetes Learning Collaborative (DLC) funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The practice was chosen by UK Healthcare’s Regional Extension Center, the Kentucky Department of Public Health and the Kentucky Diabetes Prevention and Control Program. The HMH Physician Group: Primary Care office was one of 10 practices chosen for the collaboration. The project will begin in May of 2021.

David Asher has been named the new Chief Administrative Officer of the HMH Physician Group.

Since 2010, Asher has served as Physician Practice Support Manager at HMH, overseeing the day-to-day operations of 12 practices. In his new role, Asher will be responsible for ongoing operations, implementation of strategic initiatives, and continued growth for the HMH Physician Group.

The Board of Directors at Harrison Memorial Hospital has named Rebecca Jenkins as the new Chief Compliance Officer for the facility. In her new role, Jenkins will be responsible for Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, and Case Management. She will also serve in a supervisory oversight role for Human Resources and KidTown Daycare and Preschool.

The Chief Compliance Officer ensures that the hospital follows best practices that govern the industry, as well as monitors and meets applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

The Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Stephen K. Toadvine, M.D., MPH, MMM as Chief Executive Officer for Harrison Memorial Hospital. Dr. Toadvine will assume the role on March 15, 2021. Retiring HMH CEO, Sheila Currans, will serve in an advisory role, until transition is complete.
