Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is a branch of rehabilitative health that uses specially designed exercises, equipment and manual techniques to help patients regain or improve their physical abilities.
Patients who are recovering from an acute injury, a repetitive injury or an illness can benefit from the physical therapy services offered at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Our unit is well-equipped with some of the latest equipment and technology to accurately assess the patient’s condition and to provide resources to rehabilitate right here on our hospital campus. Offering these services closer to the patient’s home alleviates traveling long distances for multiple visits and helps ensure patients stay on track with their recovery.
Each physical therapist is board certified in his or her field, and many have extra certification in additional specialized areas of rehabilitation. We incorporate specially designed exercises and state-of-the-art equipment into individually designed treatment plans to meet individual patient needs. Manual physical therapy techniques are also used. Our primary goal is to help our patients regain or improve their physical abilities.
We treat a wide variety of patients, ranging in age, who require physical rehabilitation for countless injuries and illnesses
