HMH Wellness Center reopens, expands services

The HMH Wellness Center reopened on Monday, June 1, 2020. The operating hours are Monday - Thursday from 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  During the summer months, the HMH Wellness Center will be closed on Saturdays. In late summer, the staff will reevaluate whether to open on Saturdays.

HMH begins third phase of reopening healthcare services, updates visitor guidelines

On May 13, 2020 -- Harrison Memorial Hospital begins the third phase of reopening healthcare services, which includes elective inpatient surgeries at 50 percent of pre-COVID-19 shutdown volume. The opening of elective inpatient surgeries is consistent with the guidelines set by the Kentucky Department of Public Health.

HMH wants to alleviate concerns the public may have, as they begin to receive preventive and elective care.  The safety of our community has been our highest priority for 114 years, and COVID-19 has not changed our commitment.

HMH begins the reopening of the second phase of healthcare services

Harrison Memorial Hospital begins the second phase of reopening healthcare services, which includes elective outpatient surgeries and invasive procedures. The opening of elective outpatient surgeries and procedures are consistent with the guidelines set by the Department of Kentucky Public Health.

HMH will begin the reopening of non-urgent healthcare services

Cynthiana, Kentucky – Harrison Memorial Hospital will resume non-urgent (elective), in-person healthcare services on Monday, April 27, 2020.  The opening of non-urgent/emergent care is consistent with the provisions set by the Department of Kentucky Public Health. Areas reopening include ambulatory care, diagnostic radiology and lab testing, physical and occupational therapies and HMH Physician Group practices.

HMH has secured sufficient personal protective equipment (PPE) to safely care for all patient needs.

Kentucky Blood Center

The Kentucky Blood Center is looking for healthy individuals to donate lifesaving blood for patients in need. Donating blood is a necessary component of helping patients cope with a variety of conditions, and blood donation is a safe process. If you are interested in donating at the Lexington facility, her are the specifics on their website.

HMH to open a Cough Clinic

Beginning Saturday, March 21, 2020, Harrison Memorial Hospital and local healthcare professionals will be offering a Cough Clinic to assist those with cough, fever and/or sore throat who may be concerned with the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19.
