Harrison Memorial Hospital Expands Cardiac Care Services with Cutting-Edge Cardiac MRI

Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) is pleased to announce a significant enhancement to its cardiac care services with the introduction of state-of-the-art Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This noninvasive diagnostic tool is a major addition to the hospital's comprehensive cardiology department.

Dr. Yaz Daaboul joined the HMH Medical Staff in July to lead HMH’s Advanced Cardiac Imaging Program, which now has added Cardiac MRI.

Harrison Memorial Hospital welcomes Cardiology Physician Assistant Brian McDowell, PA-C. He will work in conjunction with HMH cardiologists Matthew Shotwell, M.D., and Yazan Daaboul, M.D., as well as with Ashley Black, APRN, Augustina McDowell, APRN, and Josh Hill, PA-C. He has 20 years of healthcare experience and nine years of experience treating patients with cardiovascular disease.

HMH Sleep Disorder Lab achieves Accreditation with ACHC

Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) proudly announces its approval of accreditation status by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for the services of the HMH Sleep Disorder Lab. ACHC’s Sleep Accreditation program offers standards for Sleep Labs/Centers (SLCs) and stand-alone Home Sleep Testing (HST) services. ACHC is a not-for-profit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986.

Jennie Gardner, APRN, joins HMH Primary Care Main Campus Office

Harrison Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Family Nurse Practitioner Jennie Gardner, APRN, to its medical staff. She will join Dr. Matthew Blake and Tara Wagner, APRN, treating patients at HMH Primary Care Main Campus in Cynthiana.

A native of Carlisle, KY, Gardner earned her associates degree in nursing in 1996. She then earned her bachelors degree in nursing in 1999 and completed her masters of science degree in nursing in 2002, all from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, Lexington, KY.
